The Life-Meter™ is not a substitute for leaving a child alone in a car - windows closed or not.
Never leave a child alone in a car, not even for a minute. The Life-Meter™ monitor enclosed in
this package is considered a medical thermometer. It is of the highest quality available on the
market, and is made in America. The Life-Meter™ thermometer is not a novelty item and it is
believed by the packager and seller to be extremely accurate if used properly. Nevertheless, the
thermometer is to be used at your own discretion and at your own risk. This means that we
provide no warranties, written, expressed or implied. We disclaim all liability for its accuracy
or its fitness for any purpose due to several variations, including where the thermometer is
placed. Most frequently the thermometer is attached to the inside of your vehicle’s window, but
other placements are acceptable.
Our decal is made from durable, lightweight Mylar® which is designed to offset hypothermic
reaction and reflects sun and heat in hot climates. It was designed to provide years of
consistent service. If the decal is not installed properly, it may start to peel away from
the window. If you observe this, it should be replaced at once. This is an education awareness
product, designed to help protect children and prevent tragedy. However, we make no guarantees,
warranties or other representations. Nothing is a substitute for diligent adult care in the
supervision of children.
